The story so far

Money Minded was born in 2015 when Emma Waller left the world of educational leadership to pursue her passion for helping teachers improve their wellbeing through delivering CPD and training events.

As a teacher, Emma taught economics and finance so using her subject knowledge she continued to engage with young people through her work with Young Money (part of Young Enterprise).

Emma began authoring financial literacy programmes for the likes of HSBC, Chartered Insurance Institute/Personal Finance Society and other financial institutions.

In 2017, Emma co-wrote the hugely successful Your Money Matters textbook and teacher guide funded by Martin Lewis and supported by DfE.

This vital resource is available in all state secondary schools in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

clients we have worked with

I learned so much in just one hour with Emma. The session was brilliant with so much information and useful and practical tools - I will start using from today!
Thank you so much!

The presentation was very clear. Emma was easy to talk to

Emma was great at responding to individual questions alongside the outline of her presentation and was very honest and open about difficulties people could face.

Emma did a wonderful job and would love to see  future sessions too. I enjoyed her enthusiasm and it encouraged me to ask questions.

Emma was a great facilitator, with lots of energy and insight into money guidance. She asked us what we wanted to focus on and was flexible with the session around our needs which was great. We covered a lot of ground very quickly and learned lots of practically useful information for our work. Thanks again!

I felt like Emma knew exactly what sort of issues with money I had!
I learned a lot.
